Ed Pope

Mr. Pope joined City National Rochdale in 2012 and has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Based in San Francisco, he is responsible for developing and fostering new relationships with financial advisors, CPAs, attorneys, and their clients in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. 

In his prior experience, Mr. Pope was employed at Fisher Investments in California as an Investment Counselor for the Global team. As a strong performer at Fisher, he assisted significantly in growing the global assets under management. Prior to working at Fisher Investments, Mr. Pope was employed at Marsh & McLennan where he provided advice and solutions in the areas of risk management and risk transfer.

Mr. Pope earned his BS in Rural Estate Management from the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester, United Kingdom and his MBA in Business Management from Arizona State University. He also earned his Master of International Management, graduating Cum Laude, from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona. Born in London, Mr. Pope spent a year in Moscow in the 1990s before moving to the U.S. to attend graduate school. He has lived in San Francisco since 2000, where he is an avid kitesurfer and motorcyclist.
